The concept behind Tradie Web Guys stems from the belief that tradies should be out there making the money, not worrying about their online presence. Tradie Web Guys is the bigger, better looking brother of Plumbing Web Guys, a company that builds online solutions for plumbers. The whole concept came into fruition while the director of the company (Matt Jones) was working in a sales and marketing role within the plumbing industry and he noticed a scary trend of tradies that had great businesses, but not-so-great representation. "We were selling very expensive equipment to (mostly) plumbers all over the Asia Pacific region. I was getting calls all the time from clients stressing because they had the equipment, but no work.
