From the scratch, with three odd employees, he started the business in a very modest way and under his leadership, within a time span of 25 years, Transind Company has become one of the largest trade houses in Qatar business scenario, and now employees more than 200 people in its various divisions of business. Born in the Malappuram district of Kerala, India, Mr. Unni's career began in 1974 in U.A.E, where he worked for an ice cream Company till 1979. With this experience he came to Doha in 1979 and then never looked back. All then was history. His extra ordinary skills have helped him to acquire so many successful trade deals with International Organizations and his success brought trust and confidence of the owner, HE. Sh. Abdul Rahman, who have given him free hand to manage the company. Mr. Unni is not only an employee of the Company, but also a profit sharing partner as well as an invested partner in many other associated establishments.
