Transply

Established in 1972 in rural Dillsburg, PA by brothers Ray and Dean Gross, Transply has evolved into a leading privately-held general-line distributor. Now headquartered in the York City Industrial Park, the company focus is to provide superior customer service along with quality products. The company employs over sixty people with annual sales exceeding $27 million in 2015. In September of 2004 Brian Gross, son of Ray Gross, was named President of Transply, Inc. Brian takes over for his father Ray who has held the Presidents' position since the founding of the company. Susan Crone, daughter of Ray Gross was named Vice President of Human Resources at the same time. Naming Brian and Susan to their respective positions ensures the company will remain in family hands allowing continuity not normally available in today's corporate world. Transply, Inc. has grown from one small office in Dillsburg, PA to six locations in Pennsylvania, one in Maryland and one in Virginia. As well as a sales office, each of the locations has a well stocked warehouse of power transmission and material handling products. A team of inside sales personnel handle the incoming phone calls from customers, while the outside sales team handles the customer's on-site needs. As the company enters it's 45th year of business with eight strategically located offices and many leading brands of products, Transply is positioned to be a leading distributor for years to come.
