Tri-Valley Orthopedic Specialists has been serving the Tri-Valley community since 1985. As our practice has grown, so has our staff. Dr. Robert H. Malstrom, our founder and his Office Assistant, Karen Ghidossi, were the first employees in the Pleasanton office. Today, we are proud to have 11 physicians, 3 medical offices, Open MRI, Closed high field MRI, Physical and Occupational Therapy Departments, our Hacienda Surgery Center, and a great group of people who have fun every day serving our patients. Recently, Tri-Valley Orthopedic Specialists moved their Pleasanton office to a new building within the Hacienda Business Park, the Orthopedic Center of Hacienda. The building is a vision, which has become a reality for the physicians who have worked extremely hard to create an orthopedic center where patients can take care of majority of their musculoskeletal and orthopedic needs in one location. The Orthopedic Center of Hacienda houses the Pleasanton medical offices for Tri-Valley Orthopedic Specialists and Hacienda Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center geared for "short-stay" surgical patients. If an individual experiences a musculoskeletal problem, they can see an orthopedic specialty physician for an evaluation, may have an X-ray or MRI for further studies, may see a physical or occupational therapist for post-injury or post-surgery rehabilitation and if surgery is necessary, can have the surgery done at the Hacienda Surgery Center.
