Currently TROPIFOODS is focused on the production and export of a wide range of tropical products, also known as ethnic products, such as Malanga Lila, Malanga Blanca, Ginger, Malanga Taro, Malanga Eddoes, Yampi, Cassava (Yuca), among others such as Pineapple and Pumpkin. The food brand TROPIFOODS® is authorized to export by the Foods and Drugs Administration (FDA), of the United States, Ministry of Agriculture (MAG) in Costa Rica and PROCOMER (Export Promotion Agency of Costa Rica). We belong to a partner group of the CLAYUCA Institution, which is dedicated to the investigation of Cassava, in Cali Colombia. In the year 2008 we had the privilege of being the second Costa Rican partner company from the most important Cassava Investigation Center in the World, this with the goal of improving and advancing in our Cassava production process. At this moment our company conforms to the most demanding international standards and regulations and most important technological trends in handling fresh products. We are equipped with an expert team of people, who constantly receive trainings, who are responsible for field production, engineering in agriculture that assists our production team, packaging handling, customs and export procedures, marketing and sales. We serve a demanding market; we have concentrated our efforts in the export of high quality products, looking for the best standards according to our target market and under our brand TROPIFOODS®.
