TSUKEN CORPORATION is a Japan-based company primarily involved in the information communications business. The Company has three business segments. The Information Communications Facility segment is engaged in the design and construction of electrical communications facilities, electrical facilities and wireless systems, as well as other facility-related construction works. This segment also offers maintenance services for facilities. The Information Communications Service segment is engaged in the development of information and communications system solution software, the sale and provision of installation and maintenance services for information communications equipment, as well as the provision of telephone line services, among others. The Sale and Lease segment is involved in the sale of office equipment, as well as the leasing and rental businesses. It has 17 subsidiaries and three associated companies. As of August 1, 2008, it has merged with four Hokkaido-based subsidiaries.
