The Turnkey Civil Group is a group of civil engineering companies that specializes in the implementation of turnkey projects. The group can also provide independent design, plant hire, construction and project management services. There are numerous advantages to the turnkey concept, such as: Responsibility rests with only one party. It is possible to "fast track" projects through the design and construction phases. Any changes in design concepts, which may arise during the construction period, are unlikely to result in increased costs. The extensive experience of the project team may in fact result in savings to the client. The likelihood of claims can be regarded as negligible, unless a change in the scope of work takes place. Previous experience on similar projects allows us to commence certain construction tasks whilst drawings and specifications are still being prepared. The Turnkey Civil Group sees the relationship with their clients as long-term investments. The Turnkey Civil Group is prepared to offer a lump sum fixed price on projects, which ensures that the client knows upfront what the final cost will be. The Turnkey Civil Group offers its services to clients in various regions throughout Africa and facilitate and support these services through our regional offices. Our vision is to grow each regional office to become a fully integrated and independent project service provider. The design team is lead by Guillaume de Swardt. The design team is responsible for the feasibility and design phases of a project and this responsibility continues into the construction phase in the form of quality assurance and final sign-off. The construction team is lead by Chris van Niekerk. The construction team has implemented numerous major projects in Africa and they have extensive experience in civil plant management.
