Universal Metalcraft Inc. is of continuous and successful evolution. Founded in 1972 as M.W.Design as a part time operation, President Viktor Wenstrom designed machines and specialized equipment for a variety of companies. Within a couple of years he incorporated to Universal Metalcraft Inc. with a purchase of a machine shop and a workforce of 6. Once the Chief engineer of Thermo Electric Inc. and with the joining of his son, Eric, a NJIT Graduate, Universal MetalCraft has transformed a small shop into one of the leading manufacturers. Universal MetalCraft is a full-fledged manufacturing facility with the continuous adoption of the latest technological advances available to the industry. Universal MetalCraft has experienced steady growth, and has been consistently dedicated to advancing reliable methods of manufacturing. Now In less than an acre of space we have over 40 CNC's, a dozen gear cutting machines, climate controlled inspection room with state of the art CMM and a TEAM of over 20 individuals. We specialize in close tolerance complex precision CNC machining of developmental prototypes to full production runs, with specially designed Software, electromechanical and hydraulic assembly and testing. Services are performed utilizing the latest CAD/CAM equipment.
