Mozarteum Summer Academy

To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart, a group of middle-class citizens founded the Cathedral Music Association and the Mozarteum. Mozarteum University Salzburg offers the study of musical training in: conducting, composition and music theory, keyboard instruments, string and plucked instruments, wind and percussion instruments, music-theatre with a large opera studio, as well as musicology and music educational theory.
