United Locating Services provides underground utility locating services, which identify and mark underground utilities such as telephone, electric, natural gas, cable TV and water lines prior to excavations performed by contractors and homeowners. United Locating Services is headquartered in Missoula, Montana. In 2001, United Locating Services purchased a well established utility locating company based in Maple Lake, Minnesota. What started in 1983 as a small family owned business in rural Minnesota, has evolved into a company currently serving almost 50 utility companies throughout six states. United Locating Services' dedication to giving customers the best possible service with superior quality has shaped it into the company that it is today.
