Urban Arts Partnership
Urban Arts Partnership was founded 26 years ago in response to the Crown Heights riots in 1991 with the goal of bringing together the community to address racial issues through theater arts. Today, UAP is the largest arts education provider in New York City, training 750 teachers in over 70 schools and reaching 8,000 students annually through innovative and creative programs including coding, dance, filmmaking, music, poetry, test prep, theater & the visual arts.
