About Urby: Urby combines boutique hotel personality with imaginative architectural design to create a fresh new standard for apartment living. Urby is defining a new category of residential hospitality. Each Urby property is designed with attention to space and detail, and is dedicated to excellent service and engaging cultural programs that amuse and inspire residents. Urby was created by David Barry, a real estate developer and hotelier with experience developing and operating boutique hotels such as the Standard East Village, Chiltern Firehouse in London, Pod Hotel in Williamsburg, and W Hotel in Hoboken. Urby collaborates exclusively with Amsterdam-based design firm Concrete for its architecture and interior design. Since its founding in 2015, Urby has successfully opened 3 properties containing over 2,000 units in the New York City and New Jersey, and has over 2,000 more apartments in development.
