USGreentech develops and delivers to the market environmentally-friendly, non-rubber infills for artificial turf used in both sports and landscape applications. Its flagship product, Envirofill, consists of round, acrylic-coated sand grains that resist compaction and contain Microban antimicrobial technology to inhibit bacteria, mold and mildew. The infill is completely reusable for multiple lifecycles, saving field owners substantial costs. A new organic infill product will be launched later this year. These progressive infill products are in increasing demand as rubber infill is falling out of favor across the country. Two of the unsolved issues in the industry are surface heat and the field's end-of-life disposal. Artificial turf fields get very hot in the summer which can wear down athletes. When these fields are replaced, much of the 500,000lbs of material is taken to the landfill. This new organic infill will solve both of these issues.
