Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging

Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging

The CCAA is committed to maintaining the highest standard of research and training excellence. It is because of this commitment to quality that the CCAA's educational and leadership training courses and workshops have been recognized both nationally and internationally for over 20 years. It is not enough, however, for the CCAA to develop and deliver internationally recognized training programs. It is equally important for this research centre to ensure that CCAA trained leaders continue to deliver the highest quality of programming to seniors in their communities. The CCAA uses the SFIC certification and renewal processes to ensure that instructors start out as qualified professionals, and then continue to meet specific standards and follow the best practices defined by experts in this field. This commitment not only protects and enhances the reputation of the CCAA and its programs; it also increases the credibility of fitness leaders and healthcare professionals trained through the CCAA.
