Virginia Anesthesia and Perioperative Care Specialists, LLC was formed as a merger of three premier anesthesia groups in Newport News and Williamsburg, VA. We are the leaders in quality anesthesia care on the Peninsula serving patients in two health systems: Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital and Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. VA Anesthesia has been designated as a better performing Practice by MGMA (Medical Group Management Association) in the Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups: 2011 Report based on 2010 data. We are the exclusive provider of anesthesia services for three area hospitals and several ambulatory surgery centers in Central and Southeastern Virginia. Our care team consists of 35+ practicing physicians and 20+ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA's) who are certified through the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
