Vanessa Benedict (Sangaralingham) was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario. In 1992 she moved to Kingston Ontario to earn a Honours BSc degree in Life Sciences and a minor degree in Psychology at Queen's University. After graduating in 1996, Vanessa moved to Toronto where she has worked in the financial services sector for 13 years. Of these 13 years, Vanessa co-managed $100 million dollars in assets with another ScotiaMcLeod Advisor in Toronto for 9 years. n 2009 she left her office in Toronto to relocate her business to the Durham Region, where her office is now located in Whitby.
