Founded in 1995 and based in Germantown, Wisconsin, Virtual Benefits Administrator (VBA) is a pro-active, leading-edge software design company whose roots go back over two decades to an alternative care network's in-house repricing software system called Unique Claims. At that time, alternative care was leading-edge thinking so Innovation is in our software's DNA. Unique Claims became Visual Claims and VBA's predecessor flourished as the in-house software platform for Conservent, a full-service Medical TPA, adding numerous enhancements and functionality over the years to facilitate greater efficiency and accommodate user needs - including our unique User Definable Fields, which enable unlimited flexibility in the creation of benefits and plan designs. Our mission of providing Flexibility, Functionality, and Technology for our clients' business solutions ensures they will optimize their daily business processes and deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction. In 2008, VBA began focusing exclusively on our software, by divesting ourselves of TPA activities. Visual Claims was completely re-architected and web-enabled with the latest Smart Client technology to create Virtual Benefits Administrator (VBA) software, which was the first cloud-based medical claims adjudication and administrative software platform, providing Software Plus Services solution. VBA provides one, common architecture for all Employee Benefit Administration. All functions are performed in Real-Time including claims payment, which is another medical payer-industry first for VBA. Real-Time Claims Payment (RTCP) is our patent pending process.
