VELVIN OIL

Velvin Oil Company has been serving East Texas as a petroleum wholesale distributor since 1964. Edgar G. Velvin originally purchased the company when it was Sinclair Oil Company, and around 1980 the company was renamed Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO). Today we are a completely independent distributor. David Velvin took the helm as President of Velvin Oil Company in 1985 and Jim Jordan joined the company as Vice-President in 1986. The company has grown over the years from a two man operation in 1964 to a staff of 16 people. We currently have 5 transport and 5 bobtail trucks to supply our customers' bulk fuel needs. We pride ourselves in being one of the top distributors of the East Texas area, and our goal is to provide the best quality and service to our customers.
