The VERITAS University foundation dates back to 1968. It was the first private university in Costa Rica and this year it celebrates 50 years offering excellence in higher education, always with a holistic and cutting-edge vision. VERITAS University is recognized as the best Design and Communications university in the country and in Central America. A symbol of academic quality, the university holds SINAES quality accreditations in several careers. Furthermore, it is internationally renowned for offering the only Cinema and Television degree in Central America, the only Fashion International Program in the region and the first degree in Photography in Central America; as well, for the fourth time in a row, the Animation School received an award as the fourth best school in Latin America and it has a place among the 100 best ones in the world.
