Villa Kordia

Villa Kordia

Villa Kordia offers a tranquil holiday experience in a village environment. The gardens of Villa Kordia are landscaped around huge granite boulders typical of the scenery of Seychelles' central islands. These boulders and extensive lawns, and also a small stream, provide a background for a variety of trees, both useful and decorative. Mango, golden apple, banana, papaya, breadfruit, star fruit, avocado and guava provide rich periodic harvests while coconuts are available throughout the year. In addition to coconuts different kinds of palms have been planted, including bottle palms, originally from Mauritius where they are now exceedingly rare and in danger of extinction. The gardens also support the beautifully scented frangipani, a hedge dripping with bougainvillea flowers, and the trees providing a show of scarlet Cordia flowers, from which the Villa takes its name.
