Vintage Photo Lab

Vintage Photo Lab was founded in 2012 by Ed Padmore. Ed spotted a need for a really reliable and fuss-free bulk photo scanning service after trying to make a photo book for his gran. Having spent hours going through the old albums and boxes, scanning them one photo at a time, he realised pretty quickly that here was a service people needed. The average UK household has 3000 old printed photos stashed away in a box somewhere. The mind boggles at the millions of stories and memories stored in those dusty old boxes. These snapshots, often of a simpler time, offer an intriguing window into the past and who doesn't revel in a nostalgic spot of time-travelling once in a while? We love helping our customers preserve, celebrate and share their old photos; rescuing the memories of almost-forgotten family history, lifelong friendships, life-changing events and reviving the days that make us all who we are today. Ed remains intrigued by old photographs and the stories behind them.
