Viro Media is the creator of Viro, a platform for web and mobile developers to easily create immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences. The development platform combines powerful new tools and React Native to let anyone write once and deploy across all mobile VR head-mounted displays (HMDs) including Google Daydream, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard for iOS and Android. Viro Media has raised $2.5 million in seed funding from leading investors including Softbank/SBNY, Eniac Ventures, Lowercase Capital, Box Group, Betawork. Presence Capital and Rugged Ventures. The founders Danny Moon, Raj Advani, Vik Advani, and Robin Har are startup veterans having previously founded UpNext, a 3D mapping company acquired by Amazon which became the Amazon mapping platform.
