Vlaamse Overheid is responsible for preparing, formulating and implementing the policy of the Flemish Region and of the Flemish Community. It handles land development, water policy, economy, tourism, animal welfare, energy policy, and more. It was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.
