VMG Blades

VMG Blades specialise in high end full custom carbon FW fins. We are based in Sydney Australia, testing in Botany Bay. The man behind the scenes is Chris Ting (AUS-5), but the origins of our fins go back over twenty years ago. Originally Boogie was the man behind the FW fins of C3. He hit FW fame by winning the worlds with Kevin Pritchard (USA-3) in 2001 and 2002. Boogie had many more successes after that but retired from FW fins in 2006. (We often hear from guys reminiscing about Boogie's fins and can't wait to try a new VMG Blades fin). Chris knew Boogie from the early days. Often providing feedback and occasionally inputting into the development. When Boogie retired, he wanted to see the great quality fins live on and offered to sell his IP and tooling to VMG Blades. We worked very close with Boogie in the early days to reproduce C3s race winning standards. VMG Blades have since commissioned Boogie to develop the K fin and started an ongoing development program of perfecting the best layups.
