About VNA of Florida The Visiting Nurse Association of Florida is a non-profit Medicare certified agency that specializes in providing accessible health care to patients in need. Since its foundation in 1976, VNA of Florida continues to expand its services currently treating more than 2 million people in a region spanning 14 counties. VNA of Florida offers a multitude of home-healthcare services including personal care, therapy visits, skilled nursing, medication management and caregiver assistance. The agency also offers education to the public, as well as medical exams, tests and vaccinations aboard its state-of-the-art 38-foot-long mobile medical clinic, the Florence Nightingale Express. In addition, VNA currently operates a luxurious assisted living community called Grand Oaks in Okeechobee with another opening soon in Jensen Beach. For five years in a row VNA of Florida was recognized as one of the top ranking home care agencies in the country by Homecare Elite and also received honors for ranking in the top 20% of home health agencies that continuously provide the highest level of satisfaction according to the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Home Health Care Survey.
