VNII Signal

VNII Signal provides pilot and serial production of new unique systems and equipment for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and also pays much attention to the development of export business. The number of VNII Signal staff grows up annually as the production volume increases. Today VNII Signal JSC employs more than 2000 people. The Council of Young Engineers and Workers of VNII Signal takes part in R&D, organizes festivals, cultural events and sports competitions. The Ministry of Education and Science of the RF grants annually special vacancies to enter national leading universities such as Bauman Moscow State Technical University, MIET National Research University of Electronic Technology, Baltic State Technical University named after D.F. Ustinov (Voenmeh) and others. Since 2013 once every two years Russian Scientific and Technical Conference on Navigation is arranged in Suzdal. During this conference leading experts and researchers of Russian defence companies and research institutes make reports and discuss them on the topic of the development of land navigation, orientation and survey systems as well as motion control systems for land vehicles.
