Vogelaar Vredehof
Vogelaar Vredehof is a specialist in the trade, packing and distribution of hard fruit. Large quantities of apples and pears sourced nationally and internationally pass through our production facilities. Vogelaar Vredehof's origins lie in fruit growing. The company's first contacts with supermarkets were made at the end of the 1960s. These became the foundation of the company as it is now. From the 1970s onwards, Vogelaar concentrated on the trade, packing and distribution of hard fruit. Its head office is in Krabbendijke, in the centre of the fruit growing area in the south west of the Netherlands, and strategically located between the ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Vlissingen. Apart from this, Vogelaar Vredehof has a branch office in Enspijk in the Betuwe, the country's other important fruit growing area. Both locations together ensure a strong logistical basis from where we can best serve our customers. On top of these locations, a trading company in France and a fruit growing company in Portugal also belong to the Vogelaar group. The Portuguese company Jurofrutas, Lda. with its 220 hectares was bought in 1975. The company Sarl Atlanpom in France was bought in 1998.
