Start AD

Vratsa Start AD is a well-established producer of single or small batch castings and pieces ranging from 0.100 kg to 800 kg. Since its inception in 1965, the company has been continuously developing and integrating new technologies: production of ferrous and non-ferrous castings; production of instrumental equipment and mechanical finishing of workpieces. In 2011, the controlling interest of the company was acquired by SPL AD, Sofia. The new management of the company has its own mission - development of Bulgarian industrial companies by investing financial resources, new technologies, developing new products, expanding into new markets and finding foreign partners. SPL AD has majority shares also in other machine engineering companies and financial and human resources necessary for the fulfilment of its mission but is is strongly interested in attracting foreign partners with well-established business. Immediately after the acquisition, Vratsa Start AD has started an integral programme for restructuring and modernization. The greatest strength of the company is constant quality control - from the raw material to the final product. The highly qualified engineering and technical staff, the train of machines, good traditions, access to modern management, marketing and financial resources are factors leading to continuous and quick product innovation. The high and guaranteed production quality at a reasonable price makes our products well accepted both on local and on international markets (Greece, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, etc.).
