Waikawa Fishing Company is a sustainable Maori seafood company based in Picton, the main port of New Zealand's beautiful Marlborough Sounds. Brothers Geoff and Steve Connor bought a small boat in 1981 and went fishing. They had a vision and salt in their veins. With their supportive wives Liz and Christine, the Waikawa Fishing Company has gone from strength to strength. Today three vessels and 20 crew catch and deliver 3000 tonnes of wetfish, crayfish and scampi for NZ and export markets.
