Waila is a word of Gothic origin which means "in a good manner". This mirrors our desire to utilize our creative power to make a real contribution to environmental and nature protection. We take risks jointly with our clients if we trust in a business model. In accordance with our convictions and goals, we strive to reduce the CO2-footprint of our company to a minimum. For us, this implies, among others, the use of electricity from renewable sources, avoiding flights, and the use of electric cars. We compensate the remaining CO2 emissions (which we cannot yet avoid) in the agricultural carbon sequestration project HimmelsErde in Munich. A significant net removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is the ambition for our business activities. Waila Aktiebolag is a Swedish non-public Stock Corporation based on Gotland.
