Warwick Ward (machinery) Ltd was founded in 1970 by Mr Warwick Ward and has grown over the last 37 years into the largest stockist and supplier of used wheel loaders and spare parts in Europe with over 200 good working loading shovels of all makes and model always available and over 3000 machines dismantled for spare parts. Warwick retired several years ago and sadly passed away in January 2004 after fighting a long and hard battle with a brain tumour, defying the medical experts by living much longer than was predicted. This fighting spirit and tenacity was typical of a proud Yorkshire man who genuinely had a passion for used equipment and in particular wheel loaders and his achievement in taking the company he started from humble beginnings to the largest in its field in Europe is one that will be hard to equal. Warwick was admired and respected universally throughout the industry. The family influence is still very much in evidence today as Warwick's sons Ashley and Matthew Ward continue to maintain and further improve the company's position as the market leader as we head into the new Millennium. The company has grown from strength to strength and continues to expand - something that we know made Warwick very proud and a fitting legacy to his memory. Also involved for over 25 years in the running of the spare parts division is Warwick's brother Trevor Ward.
