Watson and Lyall Limited are all trades Building and Maintenance Contractors who were established in 1985. We carry out all types of building projects for private and public sector clients in Edinburgh and the Lothians, from minor repairs to major refurbishments of around £500,000. We are based in Bilston Glen Industrial Estate, Loanhead, where we built and fitted out our company premises in 2003. We have many trades "in house", including Joiner, Plumber, Roofer/Slater, Stonemason, Builder, Painter and Labourer. Having these trades directly employed allows us tight control over projects and ensures the continuity of staff and high quality of work. We also have excellent working relationships with a range of specialist sub contractors. Many of our operatives are Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card holders, with some trades having been awarded Heritage Skills Gold cards which reflect our skills and expertise working on pre-1919 and listed buildings. Our Joinery Manufacturing Company, 'Timbertech (Scotland) Ltd' manufactures a wide range of bespoke timber products, including lift and slide doors, conservatories, windows, doors, stairs, furniture and mouldings.
