Wauben Architects specializes in revitalization of existing neighborhoods in regions with shrinking population. To keep improving future results of our approach, we have initiated one year ago Round-Table-discussions with with housing corporations, builders and local governments. When thinkig about revitalization, the first things that pop up are probably refurbishing housing, infrastructure and public spaces. If the district is regarded as unattractive, however, this has only a limited outcome, which is noticeable only for the residents of the neighborhood.
