Wayne Door is the leading Residential and Commercial door dealer in Central Ohio. Established in 1973 by Menno Yoder, Wayne Door began with a small showroom and warehouse. Menno, a conservative Mennonite, had a strong work ethic, dedicated to providing unmatched service. With a solid history of dedication to service, and his strong work ethic, the business grew rapidly. Menno became a true pioneer in the door business, and he had the first service department in the area. This department consisted of highly skilled craftsmen and technicians who provided quick service and repair. Anyone can install a door, but few provide service. During the early to mid 1970's, Menno's three sons, Luke, Earl and Ernie joined the Business. Menno retired in 1996, and during this period, Dave Hershberger became involved in Management. Dave and Luke continue to manage the Business on the same Principles as Menno had founded the Company. The Commercial side of the Business was developed in the late 1980's, as Dave and Luke continued to expand the Business. The Business then diversified into entry doors and vinyl replacement windows. Loading dock installation and servicing was added in the late 1990's. The Business has grown to include two buildings that total 33,000 Sq. ft. Wayne Door currently employs 36 people at the Dover and Cambridge locations. There is a fleet of 19 trucks and 6 scissor lifts that install and service doors.
