WayPoint Systems Inc. is a company dedicated to providing state-of-the-art building automation systems and outstanding follow-up service. We use Alerton Technologies, Inc., based in Redmond, Washington, as our system manufacturer. Alerton has been providing systems since 1980 and today is one of the leaders in system technology. Each of Alerton’s “BACtalkâ€� controllers is fully compliant with ASHRAE’s BACnet standards. We call our BACtalk system “Native BACnetâ€� as every single device complies with the standard â€" even the front-end software. Our Territory covers North of a line from Savannah to the Georgia State line West of Albany and all points North. WayPoint provides sales, engineering, installation, and service of building automation systems and represents several supporting product lines. The application engineering, submittals, material ordering, installation, programming, checkout, startup, system validation, training, etc for your project are all the responsibility of a single person. It is very important to us to have a single point of contact so every single detail is sure to be handled â€" not handed off or shuffled around until it is lost. We use a select few, highly trained, electrical contractors to install our systems. Our subcontractors are under our direct supervision so we control who works where and when. In today’s market, we can not be held hostage by installers that have too much work, unskilled workers, and not enough hours in the day. The selection process we use is very stringent and each installer is trained at our facility before they can start on the job site. This strategy allows us to expand and contract our installation forces as our workload changes â€" all the while keeping our overhead as low as possible and keeping us from passing any excess overhead to our customers. WayPoint does not provide just a control system for your project. We work very closely with the HVAC equipment vendors to provide you with a complete and working system. Once the “systemâ€� is installed and working, we follow up, via our remote access capabilities, to monitor, trend, and optimize the operation of the system. With our graphical based, self-documenting DDC, changes are easy to make as required and instantly documented. WayPoint can provide complete system integration with fire alarm systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), computer room units, electrical switch gear, DC power plants, other building management systems, security systems, etc. by using BACnet, MODbus, and other standard protocols. Being ahead of the schedule, working closely with the equipment providers, keeping everyone informed of our status, installing an unparalleled, Native BACnet, system, and providing follow up service allows WayPoint to keep you in YOUR Comfort Zone .
