Western Academy Charter School

Western Academy Charter School is excited to announce that our middle school students in our after school program have been invited to participate in Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. Prime Time is a non-profit, intermediary organization dedicated to out-of-school time (OST) programs. Prime Time oversees a system for reaching quality standards through assessment, program improvements and quality coaching. They also provide professional development, career advising and network opportunities to our staff and through partnerships, supports a range of enrichment activities available to OST programs. Prime Time partners with local organizations to offer expanded learning opportunities to our students at no additional cost. They offer programming in academics, health and wellness, integrated arts and positive youth development. If you currently have a middle school student in our program you should start hearing about these exciting programs being offered. Our hope is that after we successfully implement this program in our middle school Prime Time will expand to include our elementary students as well. Our goal is to offer a high quality after-school program that keeps children safe, inspires learning and helps working families. There is still space available in our middle school program.
