Whitney's Farm Market

Whitney's Farm Market

We are a full service garden center. We offer a complete line of garden supplies including fertilizers, mulch, plant remedies, water garden supplies, fish, pottery, and potting soil. We also carry organic fertilizers, plant remedies, and potting soil. Come in and see our pond and statuary displays. We are a third generation farm, started in 1940 when my grandfather Charles Whitney ran it as a dairy farm. My Father Peter Whitney continued running the dairy but also grew sweet corn and other crops which he sold from an old truck on the side of Route 8. My wife Michelle and I started running the business while we attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture at Umass. Our long time employees Sarah Ziemba and Joe Wren also attended stockbridge school of Agriculture. My father Peter and mother Eileen are still very active on the farm. My Uncle Mike and Aunt Carolyn have moved from Rhode Island and are also working on the farm. The fourth generation, our daughter's Olivia & Sage will be helping on the farm soon.
