Wideband Networks

Wideband Networks is a locally owned and operated Telecommunications Carrier and Internet Service Provider based in Gippsland. The company operates one of regional Australia's largest wireless networks, as well as ADSL and ADSL 2+ broadband internet services, in addition we provide VoIP (Voice over IP), Web Hosting and Private Networks (Corporate Connect). The Wireless tower network includes sites which are all interconnected using Licensed Microwave technology in redundant loops. Customers are connected via Point to Multipoint wireless systems which provides a high quality, (QOS) enabled network. Wideband's IP network extends from Melbourne through to East Gippsland, in addition we have intercapital services between Melbourne and Sydney to provide optimal routing. Our strength and success is attributed to our understanding of regional and rural needs, and our personal commitment to provide a quality service to our customers. Wideband Network's was one of the first companies to be granted registration by the Department of Communications (DCITA) to provide subsidised wireless services in Gippsland.
