Wise Driver Solutions (WDS) is a Specialist Division of the Wise Employment Group. The Driving Division was originally created in 1991 to enhance our supply capabilities to our Manufacturing and Logistics clients in the Swindon area and has grown from there. With over 20 years experience supplying drivers, we have seen a dramatic change within the industry. However, what has not changed is our commitment to quality and our expertise within the Transport and Distribution Sector. Skilled drivers are always in short supply, particularly with the Working Time Regulations which have come into force under the Road Transport Directive. However, our reputation has meant that we are identified as "the agency of choice" for drivers with both full and part time availability. How do we do it? We work with leading local employers, pay competitive rates, provide regular work and our team of experienced staff managed by transport professionals look after them. Over the years our clients needs have changed. Whilst there will always be a need for last minute driver requirements, today the workload is much more planned leading to an increase in contract drivers and assisting with the permanent recruitment of drivers direct for our clients. In addition to supplying drivers we also supply Temporary and Permanent Logistics staff to complete the supply chain. We realise that requirements for driving staff can be unpredictable. Distribution is not a 9-5 job. To meet this need, we provide a genuine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week staffed service.
