Wood House Inc. is the leading manufacturer of residential furniture in the English speaking Caribbean. With two plants based in Barbados and Trinidad. Together the group employees close to 160 persons and occupies over 150,000 sq ft of Industrial space. The founder and sole proprietor Mr. Alan Cox started operation in October 1992 in the midlist of a server economic downturn. By restructuring the traditional approach to the manufacturing furniture which included finding more efficient manufacturing methods and establishing a strong culture with a focus on quality and team work the company was immediately successful and has expanded steadily since then.
