Founded in 1993, WQS works in the food industry providing independent, third-party certification, inspection and training services. With global headquarters in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, WQS has offices throughout Latin America, Mexico and the United States. We provide solutions for over 20,000 companies across the entire food chain - from farm to fork. With the addition of the U.S. office in Charlotte, NC WQS is over 300 employees strong, with industry professionals specializing in farming, processing and retail distribution. WQS continuously invests in technology, because we believe our technological tools provide customers with increased transparency, agility and control of their supply chain. The WQS technical team takes industry and country-specific knowhow and trains credentialed, high-caliber professionals to audit against numerous quality standards. The findings from every WQS audit are reviewed by members of our technical staff for accuracy and technical content that is specific to the quality standard to which the company is being assessed. Additionally, the professionalism and technical knowledge of every auditor is assessed annually by our senior technical staff, ensuring the company is being evaluated fairly, by experts in their respective areas of expertise.
