Wykagyl Country Club
Wykagyl's current golf course dates back to 1905. The course was originally laid out by member Lawrence E. Van Etten, and was subsequently redesigned by two of the greatest golf architects in history - Donald Ross in 1919 and A.W. Tillinghast in 1931. In 2006, the course was renovated and restored by Coore & Crenshaw, the preeminent design team in golf. At just under 6,700 yards from the back tees and playing over rolling terrain with considerable elevation changes, undulating fairways and thought-provoking playing angles, Wykagyl is challenging for the expert golfer, yet playable and enjoyable for the novice. Wykagyl was ranked at #93 on the Top 100 Golf Courses of the USA 2018 and #23 in New York State. In August 2018, the 103rd Met Open Championship was held at Wykagyl.
