Wyvern College is looking to improve the current homework system, with a new Home Learning approach. Following feedback from students, parents and teachers, we aim to ensure that Home Learning is an approach that is consistent, challenging, enjoyable and supports the continuing development of independence. For that reason we are carrying out a trial in Year 7, during the Autumn term of 2015. Why is there a trial? We want to ensure that our new approach is effective and robust and meets the needs of students but also supports parents and teachers in its delivery. Therefore, we want to trial this new approach in Year 7 only and in a selection of subjects, in the first instance. We will ask you for your feedback towards the end of the trial.
