Xinhua is one of the largest and oldest commercial news networks in China, founded in 1931; US headquarters are in New York, from which a number of regional bureaus are coordinated. Chief writer and broadcast interviewer Xu Xingtang welcomes Michael North, of Galaxy Trade and Technology, to the Xinhua offices. Xinhua is located in the heart of the city, high above Times Square.
