Wuhan Zhongnan Commercial Group Co., Ltd is principally engaged in retail and wholesale of general commodities. The Company operates its commodity retailing business through modern department stores, shopping malls, supermarkets and medicine retailing stores, among others. The Company has eight modern department stores, one shopping mall, 50 supermarkets and franchise stores and 13 medicine retailing stores, with a total operating area of approximately 550,000 square meters. As of December 31, 2008, the Company had two major subsidiaries/associates, primarily engaged in property management, storage business, commodity distribution and others.
