ZERO ONE NINE Ltd was formed in response to the need and desire to rejuvenate the UK knitwear manufacturing industry after 20 years of isolation. We manufacture all of our own knitwear products using the latest knitting techniques including traditional panel garments as well as a wide range using WholeGarment® technology which has been developed with our 50 year partnership with Shima Seiki who share our passion for the knitwear industry. Having manufactured under the names Lesley Dee Fashions and The Sweater Shop during the 70's, 80's and 90's we have a wealth of experience and success from which to draw and develop in a tough economic climate. During the formative era the company was grown from a small manufacturer producing a few dozen garments a day, to a company of over 2000 employees selling its produce through a nationally recognised chain of 68 high street shops. With the formation of this new company, ZERO ONE NINE Ltd, we are looking to form partnerships with global retailers who are looking to support the UK's redeveloping manufacturing industry by supplying them with a range of quality British made products that will compliment and strengthen their current product ranges. With over 100 years of knitting experience between the Chairman and Development Director, and a partnership with the world's leading knitting machine manufacturer, Shima Seiki, we are confident that the products that leave our factory in Leicester, England will be nothing but the highest quality and value for money whilst meeting the ever evolving needs of a highly demanding fashion market.
