24 Hour

Over the last 25 years the practice has grown and changed structure, but the focus remains the same; to support general practice and all that it encompasses. There are now over 320 GPs in Christchurch who belong to the 24 Hour Surgery and nominate us as their preferred choice for care of their patients when they are unavailable. The surgery has developed into providing an integrated approach to primary care and moved into exciting community care projects involving general practice and a community nursing group, along with our facility. The ownership has changed from a collective GP owner to an umbrella organisation, that of Pegasus Health Charitable Ltd, which in turn is under the PHO environment.
