What is 3jane's Development Approach? 3jane takes a fully-comprehensive, yet rapid, development approach where we determine the system requirements in the initial phase. The deliverable from this initial phase is a Software Requirements Specification (SRS) or Requirements Analysis, which acts as a roadmap for the remaining phases. The roadmap, which is mutually agreed upon between 3jane and our clients, ensures that we are collaboratively working toward a common goal. 3jane's approach is guided by the following five phases: Phase One: Requirements Analysis Phase Two: Design Phase Three: Implementation Phase Four: Integration & Testing Phase Five: Ongoing Maintenance 3jane has a set of custom tools and methodologies which run on open-source technologies such as PHP and mySQL. We also implement service solutions based on well known systems like Vignette, Broadvision, Blue Martini, Interwoven, iPlanet and Cold Fusion. Additionally, we work with Oracle, Informix and mySQL databases and create software in C++, perl, Python and other popular languages. We also have a team of Macromedia Flash/Director programmers and we work on a per project basis with leading User Interface creators. 3jane has consulted and developed for leading streaming video and audio content creation companies and we are versed in all phases of content development from production and capture to encoding and mark-up with appropriate meta-data to distribution, as well as the network architecture necessary to support such systems.
