East African Ministries seeks to serve others through a holistic approach by creating a sustainable environment where the people of South Sudan can rebuild their country and thrive. This approach is what drives EAM to partner with the people of South Sudan on every project we embark on, and gives us the mission to prepare our South Sudanese crews to manage and operate independently. EAM strives to make a lasting impact in the country by building strong relationships with communities and involving them in every aspect of our work. At EAM, we hold the communities we aid to a standard that must be maintained to continue receiving assistance. We do not give handouts; we provide communities the opportunity to build a better future. Every person in our ministry has been uniquely called to fulfill a role in God's greater plan for East Africa. EAM is run like a business and with that comes a level of accountability that is not found in many nonprofits. We aim to be good stewards of the gifts, resources and time that God has provided us and maintain a high standard to deliver excellent work for His glory. EAM is blessed to have a gifted team of leaders from all over the world. Through the common goal of serving others, our staff strives to build a brighter future for the new country of South Sudan through the provision of clean water, healthcare and leadership development.
