EightSix Network
EightSix Network is designed to save your business time and money recruiting online. After consulting with many of our clients about how they manage their own EightSix employer accounts, we've put together a list of Best Practices that will ensure you get the most out of your EightSix Network membership. Follow these practices and hire even easier: Complete your job posting(s) in full - Include a brief job description and compensation, as well as ask questions of your job seekers (fill out the three optional questions at the bottom of each posting). Doing so will provide prospective applicants with as much information as they need to decide whether the job is the right fit for them before applying and, by asking questions of your applicants, you will receive more serious applications and have more info to better evaluate each application. Sign into your account regularly when you have active jobs online - Just as you'd never want to miss out on a great applicant who walks into the restaurant, responding promptly to online applications will allow you to get great applicants before someone else does. Phone the applicants you're serious about interviewing - Calling candidates on the phone to arrange interviews will allow you to better assess them before an in-person interview and will allow you to respond to their application as soon as possible. Plus, you'll have few, if any, no-shows for interviews after personal contact has been established. Use your Favourites Inbox - Sort the applicants you want to contact into your Favourites to keep them organized. Clear out your Inbox when applications are closed - Keeping your Inbox full of only the most recent applications will allow you to go through your applications faster and more efficiently. Recruit actively using our Job Seeker Database - Looking for a particular type of job candidate? In conjunction with posting jobs on 86network.com, your hiring team always has the option to search through our over 30,000 job seeker profiles and contact those job seekers who may be great for your business. Have one or two dedicated account managers - This should help with all of the above. Use specific email addresses for specific job positions - Hiring for the back of the house but your business' account is set up under a front of house manager's email address? No problem! When creating your job posting, simply type in the email address of whomever will be reviewing those particular applications and voila! - the application email notifications will be sent to that email!
